A new B4 Bash will herald the end of the Gasparilla Inn & Club's season two weeks before it actually closes on the traditional Fourth of July weekend.
The first Beach, BBQ, Bourbon & Beer weekend June 21-23 at the Gasparilla Inn & Club will be filled with cooking demonstrations, music, tasting and tippling.
The event coordinated by Master Chef Peter Timmins begins with a Friday night island reception featuring barbecue specialties prepared by expert guest chefs. Diners can sip bourbons and Southern beers while learning about and tasting barbecue techniques such as braising, smoking and roasting.

The sipping, tasting and grilling continues with Chef Timmins and other guest chefs throughout Saturday.
Attendees can discover lauded barbecue sauces, beer and bourbon via culinary demonstrations and tastings.
The history of bourbon and how it is made will be explored via a bourbon distillery demonstration and tasting before winding up at The Inn's Beach Club.

The weekend culminates Sunday with "Making Barbecue a Classy Affair" dine-around. Timmins, Inn Chefs Seth Shipley and Paul Ray and guest chefs will present barbecue with a refined twist as they collaborate on a special menu. Beer and bourbon pairings and live music will complete the evening.
